We will have some of these guidelines for successful livestock breeding and management .
1- Ventilation :
- The area were your livestock is kept mist e well ventilated and have good air passage
- Air inlet and also air outlet.
- This can be done by windows and also electric fans and ventilators
- In grazing yards there is no need to worry about ventilation but you have to keep in mind heavy exposure to sun or windy weathers .
- In poultry farming poor ventilation leads to many respiratory diseases like CRD and many infectious diseases that may be easily infectious by respiration and air .
- In cattle poor ventilation may also leads to respiratory diseases as Pneumonia and Cough
2- Feeding and Watering Requirements for livestock :
- Good nutrition helps to build animal immunity .
- Avoid sudden change in animal feed .
- Regular grazing is also good .
- When feeding with concentrates avoid heavy concentrates ration or make it 3:1 ratio while 3 is the green fodders or hay and the 1 is the concentrates.
- Fresh clean water .
- Avoid starving animals then sudden feeding it may cause some digestive problems in your livestock.
3- Importance of sunlight to livestock :
- The sung lights plays an important role on vitamin D synthesis in animal body so absence of sun for long periods may cause deformity and movement problems inside the livestock.
- Also sun is required for good vision so of animals is kept in dark place for long period it will cause
blindness as the retina will be very weak due to absence of vitamin A .
4- Livestock Vaccination :
There are many medical vaccines you must to seek to give to your livestock.
- Deworming drugs .
- Vaccination against some viral and bacterial diseases that may affect your animal.
- Regular vaccination at intervals according to the veterinarian .
- feed additives that might be added to the livestock feeds for growth promoting or immunity or for preventing some diseases .

5- Premises disinfection for livestock :
- The premises must be cleaned in regular basis .
