Steps of cleaning your dog ear " How to clean dog ear ??"
Before we start you will need :
Ear cleaner " Must be clean from your vet or online store "
Gauze or apiece of cotton ....
1- Put small amount of your ear canal into the ear if your dog and let it enter to the inside if the ear canal by gentle massaging the base of your dog ear to allow the breakdown of debris and wax .
2- With apiece of cotton or gauze gently wipe the ear flap from outside and the inner side .
3- Get rid of the cotton piece or gauze if became dirty with wax and debris
4- Repeat cleaning with cotton or gauze till the cotton piece came from the inner side of the ear with its white color with no debris or wax.
5- If ear infection is already present antibiotics and other medicament might be applied after cleaning the ear .
6- The frequency of cleaning might be different .It might be once monthly or every week or daily in cases of infections . It is recommended to consult your veterinarians for more information about frequency and technique .
7- In some cases , Excessive hair might be present and might affect the efficiency of ear cleaning so plucking your dog hair might be necessity.
