How to prevent your dog from eating unwanted things ?
1- Nutritive balanced feeds :
Maybe something she is lacking in her diet or nutrients....
2- If she was a puppy mil dog or spent lots of time in cage this is what happens because of boredom. Call your vet they will give you powder to put over her food. It will make feces taste horrible. It is always a good idea to have her checked out by vet.
3- You can try feeding her some Pineapple. Use fresh. The canning process destroys the bromelain. Only a few small pieces. This will make the feces taste bad and hopefully discourage this habit. I also recommend prenatal vitamins for your pregnant dog.
4- Canned pumpkin added to her food should do the trick! Make sure it’s 100% pumpkin. Do not use pineapple, in large amounts is not good for your dog .
5- Ask your vet about Forbid. My dog does this, and someone told me about it .
