Fever in dogs and cats happens when the body raises its temperature to fight something harmful.
Common causes include:
1. Infections

Viruses (parvo, flu, calicivirus, etc.)
2. Inflammation

5. Unknown causes
Sometimes the exact reason isn’t found (called FUO — fever of unknown origin).

Having a pet that is suffering from pain or injury is very sad.
Must check if there is any wounds or broken bones .
What to do if you find an injured or hit dog/cat:
1. Stay calm and stay safe
Injured animals may bite from pain. Approach slowly.
2. Don’t move them too much
Unless they’re in danger (road, water, etc.). Keep their body straight.
3. Check basic signs

Use clean cloth or gauze and press firmly for a few minutes.

Shock is common after trauma.

Even if they look okay— internal injuries may not show.
