Premium Quality and Healthy Dog Foods Brands in the USA
Are there any healthy brands that are more reasonably priced than the premium stuff? Like many, we’re on a budget. Our dog is a 20lb Havanese mix. Thanks ???

Please be careful some brands might cause dogs to drop dead from heart disease. I hope you are OK with that.
Has there been any thing published that lists which foods are being connected with the DM issues?
If you know of the brands connected with the heart disease dogs get when being fed kibbles high in peas, legumes, garbanzo beans, lentils, and alfalfa, that prevents the taurine from being digested, please share the specific brand names. I have read grain free foods that include all those pea and bean products are especially risky to feed.
The brands that follow WSAVA have had ZERO diagnosis of NM DCM.
DCM caused by diets. Dogs that have been diagnosed and have a diet change to a WSAVA compliant brand can make full recoveries if there hasnt been damage done.
However DCM can be a silent killer and many people have lost their dogs as they found out too late that there was heart issues.
Kirkland doesnt follow WSAVA and people have had their dogs diagnosed with DCM when feeding it.
Why don’t you just make your own food for your dogs??
you can feed your dog roasted pork tenderloin, baked & rotisserie chicken, raw eggs, raw cow liver, lamb roast, beef brisket etc. with diced carrots and green beans, PetSmart multi-vitamins, cbd oil, andglucosamine/msm. Its not that hard to do and a lot healthier for your dog.
